This project had two computer connected together to allow two users to race against each other. The computers were also connected to custom hardware setup with a clutch petal, break petal and timer controlled by a drag racing tree light. The winner of the race was determined by who had the best reaction time in releasing the clutch and pressing the gas when the tree light turned green. The player’s seat would also push forward on clutch release to simulate acceleration. High scores would be posted on the event’s website. This kiosk was a part of the GM Tuner Tour traveling exhibit showcasing General Motor’s small car performance offerings.
